MORTAGNE-SUR-GIRONDE : Organisé conjointement par l’Office du tourisme de Mortagne et le Comité des fêtes d’Épargnes, le rallye découvertes avait cette année pour thème le sel et les vitraux, mis en valeur par le soleil qui a brillé toute la journée.



Les concurrents ont ainsi pu visiter l’un des derniers marais salants de la Seudre à Mornac, où M.Rossignol a fait un exposé clair et chaleureux sur son activité.

L’après-midi, la visite de l’atelier du maître verrier pontois M.Genet a marqué le début de la visite des églises de Saintonge avec de remarquables vitraux, oeuvres, principalement, du maître verrier bordelais Dagrand. Un sympathique repas à la ferme de la Rive a clôturé cette agréable journée.

En 2009, ce sera autour d’Épargnes d’organiser le rallye. Source
