Depuis 2008, la CARA met en oeuvre des actions de réduction des émissions de Gaz à Effet de Serre (GES) et d’adaptation aux effets du changement climatique. La Communauté d’Agglomération Royan Atlantique a donc décidé de mener des actions de sensibilisation et d’information sur la pratique d’urbanisme ; le but étant de confronter la théorie aux réalités locales.

Cette demi-journée d’information a permis de répondre à de nombreuses questions portant sur le thème «lotissement, des enjeux énergétiques et environnementaux» : Comment faire pour monter une opération dans une démarche d’économie d’énergie?

L’intervenant, Claude-Laurent Aubert, architecte conseil du CAUE 17, a ainsi rappelé le contexte juridique, réglementaire et technique du lotissement.

Les participants ont visité deux lotissements construits sur la commune d’Arces-sur-Gironde, «Les Arcis» et «Le Clos des Moulins». Source
